The turbine flowmeter is a velocity flow measurement instrument based on the fluid kinetic energy driving the impeller to rotate. Its working principle is to convert the flow value by detecting the linear relationship between the impeller speed and the fluid flow rate.

1. Working principle

1. Fluid drive: When the fluid flows through the straight pipe, it drives the turbine blades to rotate, and the flow rate is proportional to the impeller speed.

2. Signal conversion: When the impeller rotates, it cuts the magnetic lines of force, and the magnetoelectric induction device (such as the Hall sensor) converts the mechanical rotation into an electrical pulse signal.

3. Flow calculation: The pulse frequency corresponds to the speed, and the instantaneous volume flow rate and the cumulative total are calculated in combination with the cross-sectional area of the pipe.

- High precision: ±0.2%~±1% repeatability error, the preferred instrument for trade settlement.

- Wide range ratio: up to 1:20 (large diameter) or 1:10 (small diameter).

- Low maintenance: compact structure, high pressure resistant design (up to 6.3MPa), suitable for high temperature/low temperature environment.

- Signal output: The pulse frequency signal has strong anti-interference, supports digital transmission and computer integration.

- Limitations: Requires clean fluid (to prevent impeller jamming), sensitive to viscosity, and requires straight pipe section for installation.
